It is observed on 17th August of this year to honour his invaluable contributions to Ayurvedic knowledge, particularly through the Charaka Samhita.
To commemorate this significant occasion, Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Centre, Tumkur, organized a series of academic and educational events. Various programmes were conducted by the Departments of Samhita Siddhanta, Kayachikitsa, and Panchakarma, highlighting the life, works, principles, and enduring relevance of Acharya Charaka and his contributions to Ayurveda.
The celebrations aimed to create awareness among students about the rich heritage of Ayurveda and inspire them to uphold and propagate the timeless principles of this ancient system of medicine.
